A Little text about the show

Piet and Liselotte share the stage every day, working in tandem. You’d think they’ve been through everything together. And yet, today the stage has quite a few surprises in store for them... It’s a story of catastrophe, a waltz where one steps on the other’s feet, a novel written by a dyslexic. Nothing goes as planned, everything spirals out of control... but it’s precisely in this joyful chaos that something happens. Piet and Liselotte, despite the mix-ups and unexpected detours, find their own unique way to keep this peculiar act standing. Out of it all, this slightly wobbly mishmash gives us something to hold onto. A moment apart. Unexpected.

A little text about the duo

The Salami Duo is a Chinese pole duo composed of Camille Bekkers and Melvin Sikkens. Originally from Belgium and the Netherlands respectively, Camille and Melvin met at ESAC (Brussels) and decided to form a duo at the end of their second year. After multiples adventures — including transporting a Chinese pole by bicycle, dealing with muscles sore, bruises, burns (#salamis), and even dinosaurs — they developed the concept of the diagonal Chinese pole. They are currently working on the creation of their first show, Kaput, a project produced by ADM vzw.
